SAPPHO — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 101 east of Forks, the State Patrol said.
Robert T. Jones, 65, of Oceanside, Calif., was attempting a U-turn east of state Highway 113 on Monday when the vehicle he was driving was struck by a Subaru Forester driven by Robert V. Bouck, 71, of La Push, troopers said in a memo.
Jones was driving a Honda of an unspecified model.
Both drivers and a passenger in the Subaru — Willa J. Bouck, 63, also of La Push — were taken to Forks Community Hospital with unknown injuries, according to the State Patrol.
All three were treated and released, a hospital official said Tuesday.
The collision occurred in the eastbound lane at about 10:53 a.m., troopers said.
All three people involved in the wreck were wearing seat belts. Drugs or alcohol were not involved, the State Patrol said.
Possible charges were pending, troopers said.
