PORT ANGELES — A three-vehicle wreck blocked the busy intersection of Front and Race streets on Monday afternoon.
Port Angeles Deputy Police Chief Brian Smith said the collision caused minor injuries and substantial damage to all three vehicles.
The wreck occurred in the right lane of Front Street at about 3:42 p.m.
City police temporarily closed both lanes of Front Street and the northbound lanes of Race Street to investigate the wreck and move the vehicles to the side.
“We eventually got all three cars out of the road,” Smith said about an hour after the wreck.
“I’m sure it backed up traffic.”
The cause was still under investigation. Smith said a traffic citation may be issued.
There was no evidence of drugs or alcohol being a factor, Smith added.
