Two drive-through vaccination clinics for immunocompromised individuals who want a third dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine are scheduled in Chimacum and Port Townsend.
Both are from 9 a.m. to noon. They are:
• Saturday, Sept. 11 — Chimacum School, 91 West Valley Road, Chimacum. Enter the clinic off West Valley Road from state Highway 19.

Jefferson County Public Health and the county Department of Emergency Management are operating the clinics.
A reservation and proof of vaccination are required.
Forms of proof include a vaccination card or a copy of an individual’s vaccination record from the state Department of Health, which can be retrieved at no cost by logging in to https://wa.myir.net/register.
Third doses are for people who are moderately to severely immunocompromised.
People may qualify if they:
• Are receiving active cancer treatment for tumors or cancers of the blood.
• Received an organ transplant and are taking medicine to suppress the immune system.
• Received a stem cell transplant within the last 2 years or are taking medicine to suppress the immune system.
• Have moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency (such as DiGeorge syndrome, Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome).
• Have an advanced or untreated HIV infection.
• Are in active treatment with high-dose corticosteroids or other drugs that may suppress the immune response.
Third doses for immunocompromised people are now also available at area pharmacies and through healthcare providers.
