Criminal charges will not be brought against survivors in two Clallam County car collisions that ended in fatalities.
On Monday, Gladys B. Johnson, 85, of Port Angeles was killed when she pulled out into state Highway 112 and in front of Adam J. Waddell, 18, of Port Angeles.
Waddell will not be charged in connection to the collision, said Trooper Brian George, a spokesman for Washington State Patrol.
On Jan. 14, Peter Joseph Jancola, 70, of Bainbridge Island was killed when he slammed into a vehicle driven by Willis Fred Gormley, 77, of Port Angeles.
Gormley was at fault in the collision, George said, when he pulled out into traffic near North Bagley Creek Road east of Port Angeles.
Gormley will be cited for failing to yield the right of way, George said.
“That was the cause of that accident,” George said.
