SUPER BOWL BASH: Van decorated in Denver Broncos colors meets the 12th Man

In the photo at right, Gregory Bondy of Port Angeles expresses delight after smashing out the windshield of a van decorated in Denver Broncos colors during a car-bashing celebration on Saturday across from the Port Angeles Masonic Temple.

The event, a fundraiser for Port Angeles chapter of DeMolay International, allowed Seattle Seahawks fans an opportunity to take a whack at the van with their choice of sledgehammers and other implements of destruction.

More than 100 people showed up to bash, watch or otherwise show their 12th Man spirit.

The car smash earned more than $600 for the DeMolay “Books for Bikes” reading program.
