Many North Olympic Peninsula high schools will celebrate commencement this weekend.
• Seaview Academy, which provides online instruction through Port Angeles School District, will begin streaming the commencement ceremony at 6 p.m. today at www.seaviewacademy.org.
An in-person watch party is planned at the Seaview Learning Center at 904 W. Ninth St., Port Angeles, with a barbecue starting at 5 p.m.
Twenty of the 27 students receiving Seaview diplomas live within the Port Angeles School District boundaries; others are from all over the state, from Joyce to Spokane.
Additionally, 20 more Seaview seniors will graduate through Port Angeles High School and walk in its commencement on June 16.
• Chimacum Junior/Senior High School will celebrate its 39 graduates at the gymnasium at the Junior/Senior High School, 91 West Valley Road, Chimacum at 1 p.m. Saturday. The event is ticketed.
• Quilcene School will graduate 24 students at its commencement ceremony, which will take place in the gymnasium at the Quilcene School, 294715 U.S. Highway 101, at 2 p.m. Saturday.
• Forks High School will graduate 57 students at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Forks High School gym, 261 Spartan Ave.
• Clallam Bay School’s commencement will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the main gym at the Clallam Bay School, 16933 state Highway 112. A total of four students are graduating.
• Lincoln High School will graduate 18 students at a ceremony at 6 p.m. Monday in the Little Theater at Peninsula College.
• Port Townsend High School will conduct its commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. Thursday at McCurdy Pavilion on Fort Worden, 200 Battery Way. Guests must have tickets to enter.
• Quileute Tribal School will graduate seven seniors during its commencement ceremony at 5 p.m. next Friday, June 16, in the gym on school’s new campus, 12181 La Push Road, La Push.
• Peninsula College Class of 2023 will graduate in a split commencement ceremony on Saturday, June 17.
The ceremony for students earning the following degrees: associate in applied science, bachelor of applied science, associate in nursing, one-year certificate and high school diplomas is at 11 a.m.
Commencement for students earning associate in arts, associate in business, associate in computer science and associate of science degrees will be at 2:30 p.m.
Both ceremonies are in the college’s gym, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
• The Crescent School District Class of 2023 has 21 graduates. Its commencement will be at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 17, in the gymnasium at the Crescent School, 50350 state Highway 112.
• Port Angeles High School (PAHS) will celebrate the commencement of its graduates at Civic Field, 307 S. Race St., at 7:30 p.m. June 16.
Prior to graduation will be a graduation parade for the Class of 2023. The parade will begins at 2 p.m. at Ediz Hook and will make its way through downtown Port Angeles and up Race Street, ending at PAHS.
• Sequim High School will conduct its graduation ceremony Friday, June 16, at 6 p.m. at the Sequim football field at the high school at 601 N. Sequim Ave.
