PORT TOWNSEND — Centrum has cleared a major hurdle in its fight for state funding.
Director Carol Shiffman said Friday that the state Senate voted to restore $170,000 for Centrum’s educational programs in the biennial budget.
Gov. Gary Locke’s proposed budget drops Centrum funding entirely.
