State Highway 110 and state Highway 112 have both been reopened after rivers returned to normal levels.
“Both are reopened — they are messy, but they are open,” said Undersheriff Ron Peregrin, who handles emergency management for Clallam County.
Peregrin said drivers should take care when driving on roads that were flooded.
Ward Road near Sequim and Whitcomb-Diimmel Road near Forks remain closed, Peregrin said.
Railroad Bridge Park near Sequim is also closed, he said.
Those areas are closed not because of water, but because of silt over the roadways, washed up with the rushing rivers.
“It might take a while for crews to get out and get all the roads cleared,” he said.
He said that any rain expected this week isn’t expected to bring the rivers to flood levels again.
