DISCOVERY BAY — A woman and a teenage girl were treated and discharged from Jefferson Healthcare hospital in Port Townsend after a single-car rollover wreck Tuesday at the interchange of U.S. Highway 101 and state Highway 104.
Maria Ochoa, 23, of Hermiston, Ore., was driving a 2008 Chevy Malibu west on Highway 104 at 7:48 p.m. and was exiting south to Highway 101 when she lost control of the vehicle, according to State Patrol Trooper James Decker.
The Malibu rolled once and came to a rest on its wheels on the westbound shoulder of Highway 104, Decker said.
Ochoa was cited for speed too fast for conditions, the State Patrol said.
Ochoa and passenger Kennedy Kolelier, 13, of Poulsbo were treated and discharged from Jefferson Healthcare on Tuesday night, a hospital spokeswoman said Wednesday morning.
Both passengers were wearing seat belts, and there was no suspicion of drug or alcohol use, Decker said.
