The Strait of Juan de Fuca from Pillar Point west to Cape Flattery is now open to recreational shellfish harvesting, the state Department of Health announced.
Discovery Bay is now closed to butter and varnish clams only.
Sequim Bay remains closed to all species of shellfish.
Otherwise beaches are open along the Strait.
There are no shellfish harvesting closures along the Strait of Juan de Fuca from Pillar Point east to Dungeness Spit and in Dungeness Bay, while all harvesting is closed to all species along Pacific Ocean beaches in an extended seasonal closure.
All species means clams (including geoduck), oysters, mussels and other invertebrates such as the moon snail.
All areas are closed for the sport harvest of scallops.
These closures do not apply to shrimp.
Crab meat is not known to contain biotoxins, but the guts can contain unsafe levels, county health officials note; to be safe, clean crab thoroughly and discard the guts (butter).
