CHIMACUM — The Smilemobile — provider of dental care for babies, children, teenagers and adults — has extended its stay at the Tri-Area Community Center, 10 W. Valley Road, into next week.
Patients are encouraged to schedule appointments by phoning 888-286-9105 for the mobile dental clinic. The clinic’s hours will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday.
From babies and toddlers to teens and adults, people of all ages are welcome on the Smilemobile, which serves patients who are uninsured or on Apple Health, aka Medicaid.
Dental examinations, oral health education, sealants, temporary fillings and simple extractions are among the services available.
Due to COVID-19, the Smilemobile doesn’t offer aerosol-producing procedures such as teeth cleaning.
The mobile unit, which has provided care for more than 120 people in Chimacum this past week, is funded by the Arcora Foundation (arcorafoundation.org) in partnership with Seattle Children’s Hospital.
