SEQUIM — A 3.0-magnitude earthquake that struck at about 8 a.m. today near Sequim was felt 98 miles away, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Eighteen people reported feeling the quake weakly, according to earthquake.usgs.
Three people were in Sequim, one was in Port Townsend and two were in Port Ludlow. Six people reported they had felt it in Canada.
The quake was at a depth of 27 miles about 3 miles southwest of Sequim, USGS said.
