NEAH BAY — A mud and rock slide prompted the closure of the eastbound lane of state Route 112 at Milepost 5 between Neah Bay and Sekiu today.
State Department of Transportation spokeswoman Kelly Stowe said one-way, alternating traffic would be in place on the westbound lane overnight.
The slide occurred at about 5:20 p.m.
Transportation crews were on scene to clear debris and provide traffic control.
The state route is the only paved access in and out of Neah Bay.
