Seven firefighters graduate from regional fire academy

PORT ANGELES — Clallam 2 Fire Rescue has announced that seven firefighters recently graduated from a regional fire academy.

The academy, hosted by Clallam County Fire District 3, included firefighters from East Jefferson Fire-Rescue, Clallam County Fire District 3, Clallam County Fire District 4 and the Port Angeles Fire Department.

The 16-week academy included classes Wednesday and Thursday nights and all day Saturdays. Graduates earned National Fire Protection Association Firefighter 1 certification.
