These are a few of the offerings of the Olympic Theatre Arts’ 2014-15 season, which will begin in September.
Season tickets are on sale for five Main Stage productions and three Second Stage plays at the theater at 414 N. Sequim Ave.
Second Stage productions at OTA are being announced and incorporated into the regular season for the first time this season.
“With Second Stage, Olympic Theatre Arts is working toward offering a wider range of theater experiences at reduced prices,” said Tom Darter, board member.
The names and directors for the eight productions were announced last Sunday at an invitational members-only event.
“Tom Darter and his play-selection committee worked hard to find plays and playwrights that would have name recognition for our local audiences and which would meet the needs of our theater,” said Heidi Hansen, board chairwoman.
“We think we have an exciting group of plays for this next season,” Hansen said.

■ “The Good Doctor,” Sept. 5-21 — By Neil Simon, based on Anton Chekhov’s tales; directed by Karen Hogan.
■ “Harvey,” Nov. 7-23 — By Mary Chase; directed by Olivia Shea.
■ “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change,” Jan. 30-Feb. 15 — A musical by Joe DiPietro and Jimmy Roberts; directed by Pat Owens.
■ “Steel Magnolias,” April 3-19 — By Robert Haring; directed by Larry Harwood.
■ “Picasso at the Lapin Agile,” July 10-26, 2015 — By Steve Martin; directed by Anna Andersen.
Second Stage productions are:
■ “Holidays on Stage and Screen,” Dec. 12-14 — A musical revue directed by Jaie Livingstone.
■ “The Vagina Monologues,” Feb. 27-March 8 — By Eve Ensler; directed by Karen Hogan.
■ “The Birthday Party,” May 8-17 — By Harold Pinter; directed by Loren Johnson.
Each person who buys tickets by July 10 will receive one bonus ticket and a choice of seats in the theater for Main Stage productions.
Second Stage productions use open seating.
Tickets to individual shows will be offered after Aug. 1.
