GORST — A Sequim woman was not hurt when her Toyota 4Runner hit debris from a truck with a crane that hit a train trestle in Gorst.
The State Patrol gave this account:
William Ray Russell, 79, of Sumner was driving a Ford L80000 Flatbed carrying a crane while traveling south on state Highway 3 when the crane hit a train trestle.
The crash caused minor damage to the overpass. Russell had a minor cut on his finger.
Jessica Louise Doran, 30, of Sequim was also driving south on state Highway 3 and hit debris on the roadway from the crash.
Her vehicle had minor damage.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts and neither drugs nor alcohol were factors in the crash, State Patrol said.
Russell was cited for having a vehicle over the legal height.
