PORT ANGELES — Douglas Eugene Baker sat staring straight ahead in the courtroom Wednesday morning as a judge read the jury’s verdict:
The Sequim man was guilty of 29 charges of cocaine delivery, money laundering and cocaine possession.
As Baker spoke quietly with friends and exited the Clallam County Superior Court courtroom, he showed little emotion.
Minutes later shared a laugh in the courthouse parking lot, and declined to comment on the jury’s decision.
The verdict came after a 12-person jury deliberated for just a few hours Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning following four days of hearing testimony and arguments.
