SAN ANTONIO — A former Sequim resident recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.
U.S. Air Force Airman Aaron Andrews completed an intensive eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.
Andrews, the son of Ben and Leah Andrews of Sequim, is a 2020 graduate of Peninsula College.
Upon graduating, Andrews was promoted to Airman First Class; he will stay at Joint Base San Antonio to undergo Air Force special warfare technical training.
