Directors of the Sequim School District Board quietly approved a $19.94 million operating budget for the 2004-05 school year during a meeting Monday night.
Director of Fiscal Operations DeDe Juliussen said very minor adjustments were made to the $19.94 million budget before the board approved it. Juliussen said no public comments were made about the budget during the meeting.
She said the budget has been sent to officials at the state Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction to meet the state’s Sept. 1 deadline.
The budget is up from the 2003-04 figure of $19.2 million. It leaves just over $603,000 in reserve funds.
