Business owners and residents interested in finding out more about Sequim’s big downtown revitalization project are invited to an update tonight by Public Works Director Jim Bay.
The 6 p.m. meeting at the Sequim Community Center, 190 W. Cedar St., is sponsored by the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Bay will outline progress in the $4 million project, which involves reconstructing several blocks of Washington Street, some parallel segments of Bell and Cedar streets, and numbered streets crossing those streets.
Some businesses and parking have been disrupted as streets are closed for work. Bay will outline a construction schedule for the rest of the project, which he expects to continue through June.
