SEQUIM — A man wanted on outstanding warrants led police on a car chase Friday afternoon for at least 10 miles, traveling as fast as 90 mph before officers apprehended him on foot.
Three marked patrol cars and an unmarked car driven by the Sequim police chief pursued a 4×4 Chevy pickup through Sequim, along U.S. Highway 101 and onto county roads before the driver, Tracy Allen Clark, ran from his vehicle and was arrested in a clear cut, Sequim Police Officer Randy Kellas said.
Clark, 42 and a Sequim resident, was booked into the Clallam County jail for two misdemeanor warrants, two felony warrants and on suspicion of attempting to elude a pursuing police officer.
