SEQUIM — A 39-year-old Bothell man was reported in satisfactory condition at a Seattle hospital Monday after falling when a cliff in the Dungeness Recreation Area gave way the day before.
Officials at Harborview Medical Center said Ricky L. Martin suffered a spinal injury.
An 8-year-old boy who also fell in the collapse was treated at Olympic Memorial Hospital and released for back pain. His name was not released because he is a minor.
Martin, the boy and one other person fell when the bluff failed near the entrance to Dungeness Spit.
A fourth person managed to avoid the bluff failure.
