SEQUIM — Clallam County officials still haven’t decided whether to accept the historic farm structures as a possible home for artists’ studios and businesses.
Hyer Farm is located at the southwest end of Grant Road along U.S. Highway 101.
The historic farm buildings were moved to the location during the bypass project that re-routed U.S. Highway 101 out of downtown.
The farm, which is on the National Historic Registry, consists of a three-bedroom home, a barn and outbuildings.
A group known as Hyer Art Space said last year it wants to use the property.
But the group is complaining the county hasn’t responded to a business plan it presented earlier this year.
