SEQUIM — Clallam County Fire District No. 3 has instituted a new permit process for residential outdoor burning.
Residents burning debris are now required to register at the fire station at 323 N. Fifth Ave., Chief Steve Vogel said Wednesday.
After reviewing rules and regulations on outdoor burning, residents seeking burning permits will be issued a permit number, Vogel said. Each time they are planning a burn, they will be required to call in their permit number.
