SEQUIM — Pat McCauley, Gil Oldenkamp and Emily Westcott have been selected as finalists for the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce’s annual citizen of the year award.
The citizen of the year will be named during the Feb. 11 chamber luncheon at John Wayne Marina.
McCauley owns InsideOut Marketing & Design with her husband, Jim.
She is volunteer with the Sequim Boys & Girls Club as well as the city’s America In Bloom program. She is also involved in Rotary and chamber activities.
Gil Oldenkamp owns Gil’s New & Used Stuf.
He was nominated for his volunteer efforts with the Kiwanis and Elks clubs, retail trade committee and his many donations to clubs and organizations.
He also served on the Port Angeles Symphony board and helped put up and take down Sequim’s Christmas decorations.
Emily Westcott owns the Red Ranch Restaurant and is the newly-installed chamber president.
Westcott volunteers with the Sequim Boys & Girls Club, America In Bloom, is coordinator for the flower basket program and leads the “weed patrol.”
