SEQUIM — Count on a change in the way city road construction projects are administered in the future after confusion over where money went on the North Sequim Avenue renovation.
“We’re going to look at the whole process,” City Manager Bill Elliott said Wednesday. “Somebody should be in charge.”
Changing procedures for the next road construction won’t assist figuring out what happened on the North Sequim Avenue project, Elliott said.
“We still need to find out what happened,” Elliott said.
The dilemma is over $70,000 Clallam County Public Utility District No. 1 expected to be paid for materials to install underground utilities along Sequim Avenue.
