SEQUIM — More than 900 dogs will strut their stuff this weekend at the Hurricane Ridge Kennel Club’s seventh annual all breed dog show and obedience trials.
Pint-size dogs to supersized canines from all over the West will compete in the two-day event, held on the Blake family property adjacent to Carrie Blake Park.
The show, the largest of its kind on the Olympic Peninsula, generally draws about 2,500 to 3,000 people, said Ron Fye, the kennel club’s treasurer.
“There’s a lot of people in this area that have dogs — more than you realize sometimes,” he said.
