SEQUIM — A year and a day ago Jordana Wood was severely injured while trying to help a person injured in a car crash near the intersection of Kitchen-Dick Road and Highway 101.
Sunday night, another Good Samaritan may have endangered his health while helping a person with hepatitis B at a fatal crash on Highway 101 near Blyn.
Clallam County Fire District No. 3 officials were worried the man may have contacted blood from the person with the disease. The man contacted the fire department Tuesday in response to a story in Tuesday’s PDN. Fire department sources say the man, who they declined to identify, has emergency medical technician credentials and was wearing rubber gloves.
