PORT ANGELES — A sedan ran off the road and struck the corner of a garage and then damaged an apartment building staircase on Front Street.
The driver of the vehicle was treated and released on the scene after the 7:59 p.m. Friday collision into the building at 405 E. Front St., according to the Port Angeles Fire Department.
No one else was injured.
The living quarters of the apartments were unaffected by the crash, fire department personnel said, adding that no fires were present.
Red Cross was contacted in case rehousing was needed.
The apartment building staircase and a residential garage were damaged.
The cause of the crash was unknown as of Sunday.
