PORT ANGELES — High winds caused a few scattered electrical power outages across the North Olympic Peninsula on Saturday.
Fewer than 100 customers had lost power by 11 a.m. in areas scattered throughout Clallam County, said Mike Howe, Clallam County Public Utility District spokesman.
That number was down to 50 by 3 p.m.
“It’s all over the county. It’s wherever the tree limbs are,” Howe said.
The Jefferson County PUD had reported 199 customers, including some in the Gardiner area and on Old Eaglemount Road, were without power Thursday morning.
By 3 p.m., all power had been restored.
A National Weather Service advisory said gusts up to 55 mph could be expected, especially from Dungeness eastward, until 10 p.m. Thursday.

For the North Olympic Peninsula, the Weather Service said possibly heavy rains could continue through Tuesday, with showers likely through the end of next week.
