PORT TOWNSEND — The city of Port Townsend has announced that construction will begin Wednesday, Aug. 14 on the Visitor Center project.
During the construction, which is currently scheduled through the end of October, Jefferson Street will be closed at its intersection with Sims Way.
Parking spaces adjacent to the center will remain available throughout the project.
According to a press release, construction will typically occur between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
