PORT ANGELES — The city of Port Angeles has opened the request for proposals for its annual lodging tax event and non-event 2020 funding distribution.
Funding request for proposal (RFP) applications are due at 5 p.m. Friday.
The city council approved the 2020 Lodging Tax Fund budget at its Oct. 1 meeting.
The budget includes $212,340 for capital facilities, $35,390 for Lodging Tax Advisory Board priorities, $141,560 for marketing, $233,574 for operations and $84,936 for events.
For more information, see the Bids and RFP’s page at cityofpa.us/941/Lodging-Tax-Fund.
Changes have been made recently to both RFP applications and how the Lodging Tax Advisory Board will review the proposals.
Guideline documents that are included in each of the RFP’s will assist applicants in understanding state requirements, the application process and changes that have been made for the 2020 funding request process, according to the committee.
