PORT ANGELES — A cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the man who stole pharmaceuticals from a Rite Aid last month at gunpoint has reached $2,000.
Pharmaceutical company Purdue Pharma L.P. announced Wednesday that it is matching the $1,000 reward offered by North Olympic Crime Stoppers.
The robbery occurred at the 110 Plaza St. Rite Aid at U.S. 101 and Golf Course Roa on Nov. 9.
The unidentified suspect is described as a Caucasian between 23 and 25 years old, standing 6-feet-tall and weighing between 150 and 160 pounds, with scruffy red facial hair.
During the robbery, he wore a surgical mask, a black hooded coat with an emblem on the left side, camouflage pants and military boots.
Port Angeles Detective Jason Viada said that police are still following leads as they attempt to find the man.
The robber made off with pain relievers, but police are not releasing how much, or what kind, was stolen.
