SEQUIM — Work crews contracted by the city of Sequim have begun to resurface Priest Road.
Work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays with some night work and is expected to require 10 to 11 weeks to complete, according to a city press release.
The work will be performed on Priest Road from Washington Street up to the city limit, just north of Jennie’s Boulevard.
Drivers can expect delays, localized closures and detours during work hours; resident access will be provided.
The project will include milling, the placement of hot mix asphalt, striping and other associated work.
The work will be performed by Lakeside Industries, PR Systems, Specialized Pavement Markings and Olympic Concrete Cutting.
