PORT ANGELES — Guest Niobe Weaver will speak at Unity in the Olympics, 2917 E. Myrtle St., at the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday.
Weaver’s lesson will be “Can You Believe in Miracles?”
Weaver is a singer who focuses on vibrational health and wellness.
A time for meditation is held every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
Everyone is welcome to attend all church activities.
Joint prayer day
SEQUIM — Several churches will join to present the annual World Day of Prayer service at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave., at noon Friday, March 7.
The World Day of Prayer is a worldwide ecumenical movement of Christian women from 170 countries who observe a common day of prayer on the first Friday in March each year.
The different countries take turns writing the World Day of Prayer worship service, interpreting the Bible in their own context and lifting up issues of mission, justice and peace that are important to them.
The 2014 worship service was written by the women of Egypt using the theme “Streams in the Desert.”
An offering will be collected during the service, which will help fund grants to nonprofit organizations within the U.S. and internationally.

Day of Prayer rites
PORT ANGELES — First Presbyterian Church, 139 W. Eighth St., will hold a World Day of Prayer service from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, March 7.
Child care will be offered.
There will be a light lunch featuring Egyptian food provided following the service.
The church is handicapped-accessible, and all are welcome to attend.
Church fundraiser
SEQUIM — Dungeness Community Church Youth Missions will hold a fundraiser at 45 Eberle Lane on Saturday.
Early bidding for a silent auction begins at 6:30 p.m.
A variety show and dessert bar starts at 7 p.m.
The live auction will follow.
Admission is free.
Items in the silent and live auction include a 39-inch-by-49-inch Ross Hamilton print, a trip to Victoria on the MV Coho ferry to visit the Royal B.C. Museum and Butchart Gardens, and more.
All profits go to high school student youth missions trips to build houses in Mexico and provide vacation Bible schools to inner-city children.
