THIS YEAR’S SEQUIM Lavender Weekend may be over, but it’s obvious from our Lavender Photo Contest that our love affair with the fragrant purple plant is not.
With 18 unique entries, virtually all taken at Sequim-area lavender farms, the competition was stiff. But over a week, online voters selected beautiful images from seven talented photographers.
The first place winner, “You Pick,” was taken by Ally Mon Wai of Port Angeles.
She won a gift basket from Wilder Auto worth more than $100.
