SEQUIM — The Washington Peninsula/Sequim chapter of Project Linus recently moved to a new facility.
The chapter, which has been active since 1997, is now at 33 Valley Center Place.
The new headquarters will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays for volunteers to meet, sew, get sewing tips and obtain materials.
According to a press release, the chapter made and delivered 1,258 blankets in 2018, bringing its total to 23,692 blankets since its inception.
The chapter will host a Make a Blanket Day from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 24, in the Gardiner Community Center, 980 Old Gardiner Road.
