Power outage scheduled

PORT ANGELES — An electrical power outage is scheduled in the Lower Elwha/Edgewood area today.

The outage, which will affect about 300 Clallam County Public Utility District customers, will begin at 10 a.m. Power is expected to be restored by 1 p.m.

PUD workers will replace a damaged junction box.

Affected customers will be notified by automated phone calls, the PUD said.
