PORT ANGELES — A section of U.S. Highway 101 near Fisher Cove Road has been reduced to a single lane due to erosion.
According to a press release, temporary signal is controlling alternating single lane traffic through the affected area.
Work crews from the Department of Transportation are assessing the damage to identify what work will be needed to reopen both traffic lanes.
Fisher Creek Road is west of Lake Sutherland and east of Lake Crescent.
State Highway 112 remains closed between mile posts 31 and 39 due to multiple slides.
