PORT ANGELES — Port users began the process of developing a security plan required to conduct international commerce after July 1, 2004.
During a meeting Monday, Port Angeles port users were chosen to write an overall plan for North Olympic Peninsula ports.
The plan will cover ports from Port Ludlow to LaPush, except for Indian Island.
The Olympic Peninsula Port Security Committee will oversee implementation of the plan.
