PORT TOWNSEND — The Northwind Arts Center and the Port Townsend Library invite visual artists to submit original works of art to “Book Inspired,” the show to open March 6 at the arts center’s new location at 701 Water St.
This exhibition is for art based on or inspired by works of literature, in any genre. The submission deadline is March 2; art will be accepted for jurying between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. that day.
Artists interested in entering “Book Inspired” can obtain a prospectus at the Port Townsend Library, 1220 Lawrence St., or online at www.northwindarts.org.
David Sessions, exhibition director at Bainbridge Island Arts and Crafts Gallery, and Lynnette Sandbloom, director of education at the gallery, are the show’s jurors, while the curator is Jean-Marie Tarascio. She can be reached via email at jmtarascio@gmail.com.
