PORT TOWNSEND — A Port Townsend woman who was injured in a Tuesday wreck on state Highway 19 has died.
Gail Marioni, 81, died at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, the State Patrol announced early this morning.
Marioni was involved in a 12:38 p.m. Tuesday collision at Prospect Road at the Highway 19 intersection, and had been admitted in serious condition to the Harborview intensive care unit.
According to the State Patrol, Marioni, driving a Honda, pulled out in front of Brian A. Austin, 55, of Port Townsend, who was driving Ford Ranger pickup.
Marioni was taken by helicopter to Harborview.
Austin was not seriously injured.
There are no charges pending in the case, said Trooper Russ Winger, spokesman for the State Patrol.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts and drugs or alcohol were not involved, the State Patrol said.
Both cars were destroyed, the State Patrol said.
