PORT TOWNSEND — Residents can discuss financing city facilities at a town meeting on Thursday.
The McCurdy Pavilion in Fort Worden State Park will open at 6 p.m. to welcome those from Port Townsend and the surrounding areas in Jefferson County who want to discuss the future of the city.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The topic for this meeting, the second in a series of discussions on the Port Townsend Comprehensive Plan, will be “providing public facilities with the city’s financial resources,” and thanks to the larger venue planned for this meeting, everyone should be able to sit down.
The March meeting, the first in the series, was standing room only.
