Port Townsend to test water system beginning Monday

PORT TOWNSEND — The city of Port Townsend has announced that it will be conducting a water system test starting Monday.

The test will involve temporarily raising the chlorination level in the treatment plant.

According to a press release, city water customers might notice an increased chlorine taste or smell for two to three weeks.
