PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend School District has announced that three of its five school board seats will be on the ballot this fall.
The District No. 2 seat, the District No. 3 seat and the at-large No. 5 position are all up for election in November.
According to a press release, the incumbent district directors, Laura Tucker and Keith White, have both indicated they do not intend to stand for re-election.
Nathaniel O’Hara, the at-large director, has indicated he plans to run for re-election.
District No. 2 includes the North Beach neighborhood and the northern section of Cape George Road, while District No. 3 includes the Cape George, Kala Point and Discovery Bay neighborhoods.

Any eligible voter who resides in the Port Townsend School District may file for the at-large seat.
Interested candidates should file with the Jefferson County Auditor’s Office from Monday, May 13 through Friday, May 17.
