PORT TOWNSEND — It wasn’t the last picture show after all — the Port Townsend Film Festival will be back in September.
A lack of funding had generated some doubt that the show would go on this year.
But Festival Executive Director Peter Simpson said Wednesday that the event will go on as scheduled Sept. 26-28. This will be the film festival’s fourth year.
“We’re calling it leaner,” Simpson said, noting the festival had to be scaled back due to a shortfall in funding. “There will be no great big theater like last year at the high school.”
