PORT TOWNSEND — The Steilacoom II car ferry, which travels between Port Townsend and Keystone on Whidbey Island, is out of commission this morning.
The car ferry, which travels between Port Townsend and Keystone on Whidbey Island, was pulled from service because of unspecified mechanical problems, said the state ferries system Web site, www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/.
All sailings are canceled until further notice, the Web site said.
State ferries officials were unavailable for comment early this morning.
