PORT TOWNSEND — Four City Council candidates debated the balance between economic development and the quality of life Monday during a meeting of the Port Townsend Chamber of Commerce.
Position 5 candidates Lyn Hersey and Kees Kolf and Position 1 candidates Michelle Sandoval and Michelle Armstrong faced off during the meeting.
Armstrong is running as a write-in candidate.
None of the candidates had a clear vision for resolving the conflict, though they each identified areas of concern.
