PORT TOWNSEND — The next executive director of the Port Townsend Chamber of Commerce is still to be determined.
The chamber board of directors on Monday was unable to establish a two-thirds quorum, putting the decision on hold.
“I am arranging a meeting later this week,” said chamber President Kim Jons.
“I appreciate people working around their busy schedules and vacation times to meet on this.”
The decision on the new leader of the chamber has lingered since Thursday — when a meeting was also held without a quorum.
There are four finalists for the position.
According to Jons, the executive board recommended a candidate to the regular board last week.
The new chamber executive director will succeed Tim Caldwell, who resigned after 16 years on the job to accept a new Port Townsend office manager position with Puget Sound Energy.
