Port Ludlow is one of the best neighborhoods in American for retirees, says Where to Retire, a 200,000-circulation national magazine for retirees.
It profiles Port Ludlow in its March/April issue.
“Retirees choose Port Ludlow for its slower, island-style lifestyle, its year-round mild weather and the recreation opportunities afforded by the Olympic Peninsula like hiking, biking, sailing and kayaking,”‘ said Alan Fox, the magazine’s editor.
He says 380,000 people move across state lines annually to retire, bringing significant economic benefits to their new hometowns.
